For dancers ready to take it to the next level.
Our competitive program is for dancers who want to take their dancing to the next level. Dancers work and grow together as a team. Our competitive teams compete both regionally and nationally each season.
Auditions & placement
Team placement is by audition each summer. We look for technical foundation, work ethic, and coachability. Dancers new to competition are welcome! Missed our audition date- reach out for a private audition!
What we compete in
Our teams compete in jazz, contemporary/lyrical, hip hop, tap and acro. We have multiple teams for different genres and skill level.
What they'll learn
- More advanced technique across multiple disciplines
- Competition-level choreography and performance quality
- Stage presence, projection, and artistry
- Teamwork, discipline, and time management
I have 2 daughters who have danced with Miss Andrea's since they were 2 years old. The studio and it's staff could not be more welcoming - they make every dancer feel terrific about their abilities and body image. The studio is a mix of families from all throughout Westchester NY, creating a great community vibe that is inclusive. Highly recommend for either recreational dancers or more competitive dancers.
